Lavapalooza

This past weekend Ray and I got away from the kids and went to Lava Hot Springs, ID. May 17, 2008 was the 1st annual Lavapalooza--Harley Davidson charity ride for muscular dystrophy. No we do not own a Harley and yes we drove the mini van!! A great time was had by all, there were concerts, food, vendors etc.... and of course the pools.
This is a picture of one of the bands, they were really fun to watch. One guy played the accordian and then there was another guy who played a washboard with SPOONS! They were really good and Ray even bought their CD. All the proceeds of the event went to benefit the March of Dimes and Autisim. Ray and I do not get to get away very often without the kids, I think we need to try and get away more often!!

Looks like you guys had a good time. I'm glad you and Ray got to spend a weekend alone. Sorry about the "almost" disaster of no babysitter!!

I can't tell you how much Rob wants a Harley so he can go do things like that. Also just because he really wants a bike, that would be his dream to have a bike. I will have to tell him that it is alright to go in the minivan.
